Adhemar Duro

Adhemar Duro is a Brazilian photographer who tenderly portrays the far-off paradises of the Earth. In his photographs, he rescues, with many hours of work and sleepless nights, the magnificence of the Earth's beauty that is far from the spotlight of the big city.

The artist's portfolio includes, for example, stunning natural landscapes of Patagonia, as well as hypnotizing stars that populate the sky of one of the driest deserts in the world, the Atacama in Chile.

A lover of travel and an expert in astrophotography, Adhemar Duro was selected in 2014 to be an ambassador for one of the world's most prominent astronomical research institutions, the European Southern Observatory.
